- BS degree is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising Production operations in a food or beverage manufacturing plant
- Servant leadership style
- Track record of accomplishment leading production teams to a high level
- Proven ability to collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of process improvement tools and techniques such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, SPC is strongly preferred.
The Production Manager will manage the processing, packaging and material handling of food production lines in a safe and sanitary work environment, within quality standards, while meeting the production schedule within cost limitations. Leads and develops 3 Productions Supervisors and approximately 75 hourly associates. Support, implement, and maintain food safety and quality practices as required through SQF. Manage and develop team members to performance expectations and company standards for personal safety, productivity, quality, food safety, sanitation, environmental and regulatory compliance. Develop, support and implement programs and procedures for continuous improvement. Help develop and implement training programs for team members in a systematic manner to cover all contingencies; assist employees in their self-development, e.g., leadership development, outside education, etc.
