  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related
  • Minimum of 7 years working with design and installation of complex packaging systems with a preference for food or beverage experiences
  • Experience in Conveyor system controls design, Packaging equipment integration, Rockwell Automation PLC/HMI programming, Capital project execution and management
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers in person and over the phone
  • Possess strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to develop a budget and timeline schedule as well as manage a forecast
  • Excellent skills in time management and organization
  • Ability to communicate in an objective and concise manner with internal and external project team members
  • Willingness to travel 20-30%


Directs and is accountable for all aspects of the packaging design effort including guidance of the packaging controls design and programming deliverables.  Oversee the development and implementation of packaging controls design standards.

  • Responsible for coordination among disciplines and conformance to corporate standards for design documents
  • Operates as primary client interface during project execution
  • Responsible for design scope change definition and management and impact to schedule and financial performance
  • Develops design budget, fees and scopes with input from project design team and is responsible for design financial performance
  • Project financial performance on a monthly basis and monitor cash flow
  • Manage client invoices in accordance with terms of the contract
  • Coordinates staff allocation to projects with other design project managers
  • Develops and maintains the overall project schedule
  • Participates in marketing and business development efforts as assigned
  • Supervises direct reports and personnel assigned to projects
  • Develop the technical skills of direct reports including annual goal setting
